Features

• List-Driven Messages — Banners are stored and managed directly in a SharePoint list. The communications team simply add, edit or deactivate items in the list and the banner updates automatically. No deployments, no developer involvement.
• Message Severity Levels — Each banner is assigned a severity level of Low, Medium or High, each with its own distinct colour coding — blue, orange and red respectively — so employees can immediately gauge the urgency of a message at a glance.
• Automatic Expiration — Set an expiration date on any message and it will automatically stop displaying when that date passes. No manual intervention required.
• Animated Flip Carousel — When multiple messages are active simultaneously, they cycle automatically with a smooth vertical flip transition, ensuring all messages get visibility without cluttering the page.
• See More Link — Optionally attach a hyperlink to any message to direct employees to further information. The button label is fully customisable per message, or falls back to a sensible default.
• Zero Footprint When Empty — When there are no active messages the web part collapses completely, leaving no empty space on the page.
• Bilingual Ready — Full English and French localisation included, with the architecture in place to support additional languages. Language is detected automatically based on the user's SharePoint interface language.
